The objective was to introduce a 65m2 minor dwelling to the current site, situated on a gently sloping north-facing terrain adorned with serene bush views. Our design concept unfolded as a charming one-bedroom barn-style home, seamlessly integrating essential living spaces such as a kitchen, living area, dining space, bathroom, and laundry. To enhance the functionality and aesthetics, verandas were strategically incorporated to provide shelter from the elements.
In response to the client's desire for an inviting space to entertain family and friends, we positioned a covered outdoor area at the western end of the dwelling. This thoughtful addition not only complements the overall design but also extends the living experience outdoors, allowing for enjoyable gatherings amidst the natural beauty surrounding the residence. The result is a 65m2 dwelling that not only meets the client's specifications but also harmonizes with the site's gentle slope and scenic bush views.
